  • The Saudi Hawks are a BAE Hawk-prepared Royal Saudi Air Force aerobatic group.
  • On June 6, 1998, at King Abdulaziz Air Base (Dhahran), No. 88 Squadron was made by Gen. Abdulaziz Henaidy, the Royal Saudi Air Force’s head of staff, who is sponsored by Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz (Minister of Defense and Aviation). The squadron is known as the “Saudi Hawks Aerobatic Team.” Flying BAE Hawk Mk.65 and 65A stream coaches, it is the Royal Saudi Air Force’s (RSAF) official show group.
  • The Hawks appeared in January 1999 at Riyadh, the Saudi realm’s capital, as a major aspect of Saudi Arabia’s 100th commemoration festivities. Six smoke-competent BAE Hawk Mk.65A and three Mk.65s-all changed by BAE Systems are allocated to the group and now wear the group’s striking green and white exhibition hues. In February 2000, the Hawks originally showed up outside their country in Bahrain, flying out of Dhahran. Before long a while later, the group and the different RSAF Hawk squadrons moved to King Faisal Air Base (Tabuk) in northwestern Saudi Arabia.
  • The group draws correlation with the RAF Red Arrows because of the comparable airplane. There are substantial connections as ex-Red Arrows work force have been engaged with preparing the group
  • From June 2002, the group visited the realm for four months and performed at common and military shows. The group played out its first historically speaking presentation in Europe at the Air Power 2011
  • In July 2011, they showed in the UK just because. The presentation was dropped on the primary day of the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford because of awful climate, yet they flew a moving showcase the next day.
  • In June 2014, they showed in the Kavala AirSea Show which was held in Kavala, Greece.
  • On 6 September 2015, they showed before 450.000 observers at the airshow devoted to the 55th commemoration of the Frecce Tricolori show group at Rivolto Air Base, Italy.
  • In January 2018, they showed in the Kuwait Air Show, Kuwait
