Italy is one of the most popular countries in the world. It is popular for various things, like food (e.g. pasta and pizza), interesting places (e.g. Rome and Venice), films (e.g. La Dolce Vita and Life is Beautiful), songs (e.g. Volare and Con te partiro') and also famous personalities (e.g. Christopher Colombus and Luciano Pavarotti). Regions in Italy Italy is subdivided in 20 regions. Sanremo 2020

It is the most famous song festival in Italy and maybe in the world. This year, it will be the 70th edition of the festival. The festival will be held as usual in the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo. Sanremo is a town is the region of Liguria. The festival will kick off on Tuesday 4th February and will come to an end on Saturday 8th February. It is organised by the Italian public broadcaster RAI.
