Sunday 4th October 2020 finally arrived, the day to broadcast the first of Malta’s Got Talent. We all watched clips of other countries’ Got Talent, but now we can boast to have our own Malta’s Got Talent.

Gordon Bonello was the one welcoming the TV audience, explaining how they managed to take care of their safety and to abide with the Health and Safety Regulations whilst preparing, filming etc etc. And also, Gordon explained how Malta’s Got Talent works.

The participants

The first episode was amazing with participants show-casting their talents, either as solos or as a group. Here are some of the participants of the first episode.

Kian, Lola and Anthony

The first participant, a young Kian performed “Endless Love” with the help of the two hand puppets, Lola and Anthony.

Justin Micallef

A great performance by Justin Micallef using fire. Justin has great skills and was very confident.

Yada ‘N’ Heels

Here we have three male dancers on heels. They surely know how to dance…on heels.

Mario Morales

We are used to watch Mario selling Christmas trees on TV (as early as August) and fans in January. But today, Mario shared his singing talent. He performed a song by the Italian singer Mina.

Inefable

This is the first group performing in this show. It is a mix of local and international dancers and artists. Great talent.

Denica

A very talented and friendly Macedonian singer performing a medley of songs dedicated to her mother.
She also risked, but managed to sing in Maltese the popular song XEMX.

Kinetic Dance Academy

The second group of the day. They literally rocked the stage with their performance, costumes and make-up. Totally amazing.

Kristian

The youngest participant so far is Kristian. He is just 5 years old. And he astonished everyone by guessing different countries on the map.
He also earned the Golden Buzzer from Ray.

Michael Mock

Mike is the first mentalist of the show. He did not perform alone as he needed two helpers to complete the act. These were….(watch the video).
