UPDATE 01 August 2020

The church cancelled all the feasts for 2020

COVID-19 effect

New directives related to the feasts were issued by the Archdiocese of Malta on 23rd June 2020. The list for feasts in Malta, which is found further below, is updated as at 4th July 2020.

Feasts in Malta 2020

Malta is well known for its rich culture and heritage. The local traditional town feasts play a part of it. Maltese feasts include the religious part, the procession, the bands, fireworks and much more. Stalls for food, nougat, toys and other items are also present during the feasts. The church hosting the feast will be dressed and lit up for the occasion. These feasts are popular both with locals and also with tourists.

However, this year the feasts will be limited and different because of the new directives issued because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
