What is photography?

Photography is art. It comes from the Greek language and means drawing with light. So, the main ingredient for this particular art is light.
Photography can be a hobby, and photography can be a means of living. It can also be a channel to capture an instance in life, to freeze that particular moment.
But what is photography for you?

History of photography?

Photography can go back to year 1822. This was done through Heliography which is the process using sunlight. Until 1880, photography was only a hobby for rich. But in 1880 a man carrying a name of George Eastman founded a company called Kodak. He created a flexible roll film and a self-contained box camera. The camera had a little single focal point with no centering alteration.

The Polaroid

With this word, only one thing comes in mind – shoot an image and the camera will print the photo. Quite a step to the future. It was quite something new and very interesting.
Polaroid presented the Model 95.
It was a model which used a mystery synthetic procedure to create film inside the camera in order to produce a photo. Polaroid had numerous models available and the cost had dropped so that considerably more individuals could bear the cost of it.

The photographic world

There was a time when there was a boom on photography. People wanted photography and companies took the occasion to produce cameras. There are many different brands that come in mind such as Canon, Nikon, Fuji and Pentax. Apart of there were other companies that started producing the glass (lenses) such as Pentax, Tamron, Tokina etc etc.

Today

DSLR cameras, compact cameras and mobile phone are all new ways how to capture photographs. Nowadays, the mobile phones are producing very a high level of photography.
Everyone can consider himself / herself as a very good photographer because it is easy to shoot a photo. But claiming is one thing, and reality is another.

The future
